Hi,
I'm currently trying to enable ApplyPay on our site but I don't appear to have access to [certificates identifiers & profiles] on the Apple Developer Panel?
Thanks
Hi Lee,
In order to gain access to the Certificates, Identifies, & Profiles page, you must sign up for an Apple Developer ID. Once you do that, Apple unlocks the access to those pages.
To accept Apple Pay, merchants must have an Apple Developer ID so they can generate certificates.
Kind Regards,
HI, We've signed up and the Apple Developer ID and logged into the account but only see the attached.
Hi Lee,
Have you added your payment information and paid the $99/year fee that Apple charges? Until you do that you won't see those menu items.
Thanks,
Ah, that's what we're missing! Thanks for your help.
Will a Individual Membership be ok for our business?
Hi Lee,
Yes, one Developer ID will server your entire business.
Thanks,
Not as an Organisation?
Hi Lee,
I don't understand your question. When you sign up for a Developer ID, you can use it across your business.
Thanks,
Hi,
We've opened an account on developer.apple.com but not paid anything. The option for certificates isnt available.
We have 2 options when signing up to the developer platform:
Individual or Business both priced at $99
I was just asking which I need to sign up to, to enable the use of the Apple Pay / Certificate on or website.
Thanks
You should read this article. In short, the answer is it depends on your business. For a sole proprietorship for example, you should get the individual.
Thanks,
Thanks
