Introduction
Version 2.5.9 is here! We received some great feedback from merchants regarding PayPal Credit so this version officially supports PayPal Credit as a payment option.
In addition to PayPal credit, a new feature called Conditional Statements has been added. Conditional statements are a way for merchants to add logic to their checkout page that determines when certain features should be enabled or disabled.
For example, with conditional statements, a merchant can offer 3D Secure if the customers billing country is in the United Kingdom or the shopping cart amount exceeds a certain amount.
To learn more, please read our Conditional Statement Tutorial which provides examples on how to write and test conditional statements.
Fixes
- Previously, the donation short code printed the donation form at the start of the page. That is not always desirable behavior and so now the donation shortcode content is shown in the order it appears on your page.
- Subscription Start Date - Due to formatting issues, the start date of the Braintree Subscription could possibly be calculated incorrectly.
